Hey Dave
I hope all is well with you and the gal. I never seem to have much luck connecting with your phone but the blog will get your attention.
Just wondering about Christmas schedules and what to get Brie for x mas. You too for that matter. Don't like to leave shopping to the last minute.
Is there snow on the ground there or will it be a green Christmas for ya?
Give me a shout when your in cell range I'm wondering how your new endeavour is panning out.

Hey there Ryan

I really liked that documentary too. Thought it had a certain nostalgia to it. I am glad to hear that you are moving forward with your tapping. A 6x3 pan is pretty small when it comes to 250 taps. We had a ton of sap last year and had to boil almost 24h a day to keep up. I am glad that maple syrup has brought you and your brothers together the season seems to do that. Everything in life is put on hold as long as the sap is flowing.

I would love to see some pics of the operation if you have any.

Thanks for letting us use your product. I'm really sorry we could do a close-up of the product. Though it was my idea to do the close-up, the director made a good call that advertising two products could be misleading. Thank you for your time and post above. We appreciate it!

The very best alcoholic beverages made by fermenting maple sap are produced by Domaine Acer, in Auclair, Québec. I'm in the process of doing the English translation for their new website, which should be up in the coming weeks. They pioneered two aperitifs, similar to port or other fortified wines, Val Ambré and Charles Aimé. Both are delectable, just-sweet-enough before or after dinner drinks. When the new website is up, orders can be placed for delivery anywhere in Canada. They emphasize quality over quantity, but keep their prices very reasonable.

Hello I have been making syrup now for 15 years on a homemade boiler. I am going to step up my operation next season I am shooting for 500 taps. I will be building my new boiler this summer on rainy days 4x6 cont. flow pan, wood fired of course. Any tips on starting the main lines would be great. My land is flat and I have been thining the crap trees out for a few years now. Got my collection tanks and a trailer and 4x4 tractor. The bush is about 28 acres with close to 1500 trees to tap.
